February 26, 2023 - Really good PQR. Appropriate Pinot Noir varietal flavors, smooth and not overly sweet. A touch light in body, but a tasty Pinot for under $15 is great.

February 5, 2023 - First glass upon opening:
A gentle nose of red currants, loam, strawberry, and faint mushroom is followed by a clean, smooth delivery from, well... from A to Z, one might say. The aromas of the nose do follow through, but are somewhat faded. A touch of spice box and cedar comes on midway and lingers to the finish where the acid wakes the fruit notes up a bit more.
This pinot noir comes across as diminished from what was, I am sure, a lovely and vibrant expression of the grape. Still quite enjoyable as is, and I am hoping for some improvement as it decants.

Second glass after an hour decanting:
It has blossomed a bit more, but not as much as I was hoping. Still, one point added.

December 5, 2021 - I am looking for currently available Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs -- at this price point -- that provide this much pleasure. Please let me know, thanks. This was my last bottle.

October 18, 2021 - Opened for about 30 minutes before tasting. This is slightly fading, but is such a nice wine for the money - unlike the 2018. Like the 2015, this has a balance that neither the 2017 or 2018 display) Nice clean Pinot fruit, with just a hint of spice and earth. I am looking for a current release, at this price point, that can fill this void. (87-88). ADDENDUM: Two days later, I sampled the one-half bottle left in the refrigerator (sealed with only the screw top). Really drinking nicely, better than day 1. Nice spice and red fruits on the palate. I hope this winery, which I believe relies entirely on purchased fruit from across OR, will make Pinots like this again, at this price point. (88). Three days later, still drinking nicely.

May 11, 2021 - Stored well by a friend, this was quite decent. Probably somewhat better two years ago but it definitely worked tonight.

January 30, 2021 - Berries and herbs on the nose. Some fruit on the palate but mostly an astringent, cedary note. Medium body though somehow comes across as thin. No pleasure to be had. Mercifully short finish.

January 10, 2021 - Spicy fruity bouquet. Red fruit leads on the palate and finishes slightly earthy. Tannins present but not overwhelming. Balancing acidity add freshness to this medium bodied Pinot.

December 26, 2020 - Good pinot nose, fairly thin, average character of the wine, awkward, tart finish. Very average pinot. Needs to be under $15 to consider

December 22, 2020 - Rich cola and cedar notes on the nose but still having a bit of tartness on the palate. A fuller style of Pinot Noir than I typically associate with Oregon and a fair value for under $20 for sure.
