November 19, 2023 - The final bottle in our vertical wine tasting. Smooth from fore to aft with cassis and blackberry. Slight sparkle of pepper on the finish, too.
This is on a slow slide from its prime I think. Flavors taste a little diminished.
The 2018 we had earlier was definitely the best of the bottles we had, but this one is still quite good -just a paler expression of the label. -
