July 11, 2023 - Very rich, smooth, custardy wine.
Pronounced nose of coffee cake, nutmeg, lees, minerality, lemon/lime/tropical fruit leaves & menthol.
Delicate & feminine in style, showing a medium body & subtle fruit and oak tones. However, it lacks acidity & fruit concentration. (Did I leave it too long?)
Complex & interesting nonetheless, it also worked well with food. Drink up. -

November 1, 2019 - Nose: pie crust, apple, hint of citrus.
Palate: wet stone, subtle stone fruit, lemon. There is a gentle background layer of chalk.

June 15, 2019 - This is a lovely restrained burgundian style chardonnay. It has that nutty minerality that I associate with en remilly, though not quite as sharp. It seems a little thin in parts -- not sure if there is more there that will reveal itself -- but boy is it nice to drink right now. I may wait a few years on my next ones.
