August 25, 2023 - Barolo Dinner (Mathilde, San Francisco): Youthful, still a bit of oak, fruity; palate is light bodied, fruity, high acid; medium finish. Lacks a bit of depth but well balanced. 89

October 29, 2021 - Magnum. Lots of cherry, strawberry, red fruit, leather, earth, and slight hints of barnyard. Very complex aroma, but the flavor is a little less complex. Acidic and tannic — needs food and lots of air. Tasty, but way too young.

October 12, 2021 - Seems somewhat green. Wouldn't be surprised if there was whole cluster.

The Piazzo opened up with tar and roses but this is more cherry and starwberry.

February 4, 2020 - Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening Tasting Event in NYC. This didn't quite seem balanced to me. It is a bit fruit forwardwith dusty tannins but moderate acidity. The cherry fruit seemed candied or maybe even more strawberry along with some balsamic notes and a rather short finish. Good but not impressive.
