July 1, 2022 - Decent wine for $25 on last bottle. Drink now or hold for a few more years
February 18, 2022 - Though 70% merlot, I found the cab franc dominated the flavor profile and gave the wine a tannic unripeness (damson-like?) that detracted from an otherwise pleasant red. It was better the second night, but never came to together completely, and I never got the cassis or menthol, or even much oak, that the professionals noted.
April 15, 2021 - Young and tannic, surprisingly so, but this is a really attractive wine that expresses Merlot well. Definitely a lot of oak, but the fruit always comes through at the end. Might think this is new world blind.
February 12, 2021 - Very smooth and tasty. Easy drinking red.
December 31, 2020 - Firm tannins, mocha, earthiness, medium - acidity.
Not sure that this has the backbone to really age, but not drinking poorly now.
September 15, 2020 - Not a big wine, medium light body. Spice notes of cinnamon and cloves. Light for a merlot -cab franc blend. Better after 2 hours a little more flesh...
December 28, 2019 - Excellent weekday wine. A little plump, appealing nose. Very good value.
August 11, 2018 - This was a great wine value. Great fruit and structure. Well set to rest a while. I had it last night so can't really recall the details but can say it really developed full bore about an hour after openning. Wish I had bought a case of this.

November 15, 2016 - Medium/full bodied, polished, soft textured and fruity, there is a nice blend of oak, licorice and black cherry here, with black raspberry notes in the finish. This is a nice little discovery for me. The wine was produced using a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. - 88-90 Pts
