June 11, 2023 - Nach dem Öffnen karaffiert und über Stunden getrunken, tolle Entwicklung und sehr stabil.
In der Nase viel rotenone etwas schwarze Kirsche, Tabak, Zigarrenkiste. Etwas Zimt, etwas ätherisch-eukalyptische Frische.
Am Gaumen faszinierend mit zugleich kühlen und warmen Elementen. Hier auch mit viel Kirsche und tollem Fruchtbiss. Wunderbar saftige Säurestruktur, darunter marmoriert das eine sehr dunkle, leicht pikante Mineralik. Reichlich Tannin, dabei aber recht feinkörnig. Sehr viel Druck, das schiebt mächtig.
Sehr gute Länge, bleibt auch hier mit schöner pikant-dunkler Mineralik.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 12, 2022 - Liked this a lot. Gave it some hours in the decanter before trying. Nose with fruits (Cherry, currants). Very balanced on the palate with fruit (Cherry, plum), oak, acid and tannins. All you would expect from a well-made Rioja. 25€ through internet retailer.

August 10, 2022 - This 10 years old bottle has already passed its time. Brownish color and a little vinegar at taste.Changing rate after three associates recommendations, that “it may be just this bottle” and still have many years to go.
