August 2, 2020 - Racy acidity and chalk lead through this lemon driven blend that puckers the mouth pleasantly and lingers on the tongue longer than the usual pinot grigio blend usually leads to.
July 15, 2020 - An exciting, racy, intensely concentrated wine.
May 6, 2020 - Same tasting notes as previous.
It’s 93* today, and this is my wine of choice when the heat rolls in.
April 1, 2020 - Dan produces another great wine. Automatic order every vintage. California sunshine made in an old world style.
November 11, 2019 - Clear, pale straw color in the glass. Moderate aromas of green apple, orange blossom, green olive and limestone. The palate is off-dry, with more tart green apple, nettle and slate. Very high acidity creates a refreshing counter-balance to the (relatively) low alcohol. Finishes at medium-plus length.
September 24, 2019 - Classy crystalline gemina with tart finish. Best gemina yet.
August 16, 2019 - Similar to the 2018 Annia but with a touch of mustiness in the nose. Salty minerals, citrusy and spritzy. More fruit forward with the ripe fruit than Annia and not quite as lingering. Very delicious and ready to drink. And easy to drink.
July 31, 2019 - Love this wine. While the nose is understated, lemon, melon, herbs and tons of minerality on the palate. Finishes with bracing minerality and high acid. Just a perfect Summer wine. Even better than the 2017. Went great with broiled Mahi Mahi.
July 27, 2019 - Very fruity and acidic at first, quickly opens up (delicious with Kalamata olives) into a vibrant, delicious summer wine. Citrus and melon and a little bit of a wild side from the Greco grapes, I assume. Very nice chilled.
July 18, 2019 - Lovely and vibrant green-yellow color. Weighty, but fresh and uplifting wine. White flowers, citrus, lemon verbena and tart apples on the palate. Nose was a little subdued, but echoed some of the flavors on the palate. Like this wine a lot. Super clean and tasty.
