April 14, 2023 - My opinion hasn’t changed since March 1, 2022. The nose is brilliant but doesn’t translate to the taste. A lighter style Pinot-and that’s ok, but the acid outshines the cherry and oak depth and character. An additional year didn’t do anything. Good Pinot, but not so much for the price. Rodney Strong Russian River Pinot @ $20 is a better drink, better job of integration.

March 1, 2022 - Despite lots of air, clearly too young. The style is rather restrained and lighter, not our favorite style but didn’t downgrade for that.
Would go with lighter fare or would be a fun red quaffer. Would be perfect for Thanksgiving as there is significant acidity there. Holding second bottle till 2023.

November 25, 2021 - Cherry, raspberry, strawberry, plum, cedar, cola, and spice. Light to medium bodied and beautifully balanced. Paired well with Thanksgiving Turkey and stuffing.

May 27, 2020 - Very enjoyable Pinot, elegant, nicely aromatic but slightly acidic. After a little air it comes together nicely.

May 20, 2020 - We may have gotten a corked bottle based on others reviews - was simply undrinkable but not normal corked taste. I have a second bottle in cellar so will have to open that up to compare

May 3, 2020 - COVID-19 "Shelter-in-Place"; 3/17/2020-5/31/2020 (Redwood City, CA): Very pale ruby color. Absolutely explodes with aromas of strawberry, pomegranate, game, forest floor, nutmeg and just a hint of chocolate. Equally vibrant on the palate, with a backbone of silky tannins supporting crisp, tart red fruit and warm spices in the silky, medium-light body. Elegant and balanced.

April 18, 2020 - COVID-19 "Shelter-in-Place"; 3/17/2020-5/31/2020 (Redwood City, CA): Very pale ruby color. Explodes with aromas of strawberry, cranberry, mushroom, with hints of smoke and allspice. Silky texture, medium-light body, bright red fruit and earth on the palate. Simple, enjoyable, PNP-able...a good wine to have at hand right now.

November 7, 2019 - Reduced Red cherry with modest earthy mushroom funk. Palate is silky sonoma style, suprisingly dry finish with a mineral component. Needs a little time.

June 18, 2019 - Tasted at a trade tasting in NYC. Fresh, slightly smoky with cherry and pomegranate fruit and bright acidity. Mouthwatering and light to medium bodied. Nice entry level Pinot that is fruity but lively and pretty well balanced.
