Not quite faulty, but I'm not sure why I didn't replace the bottle. Interestingly - the other people who were tasting this with us - joining by zoom from another house - significantly preferred this wine, so my suspicion is that this was a duff bottle.

January 15, 2017 - Pretty shocking. I associate with Will Davies tasting note below which is an accurate description of how I was punched. To his Bang, Boom, Spat, Kapow - I add Wallop of overripe stewed nose which even sent the wife running before she had even tasted.
