Community Tasting Notes 10

April 3, 2021 - Hits the expected notes for the elements of a white bordeaux. Reminiscent of a comma: starting with the tail (sauvignon blanc) and finishing with the circle (semillon). Drink now. Paired well with seafood on the grill and rice. Very good QPR.

October 25, 2020 - Slight cheap tasting, with some low grade astringency. Not terrible, just not good. Light and sometimes watery.

July 3, 2020 - Light and refreshing with pronounced acidity - great for everyday drinking and to be paired with seafood. Fruity aroma.

  • JRockEsq Likes this wine: 87 points

July 3, 2020 - Method: pop and pour; white wine glass; about 54 degrees

Look: pale straw; several medium speed legs

Nose: stone fruit, cantaloupe, floral, chamomile, light jasmine, mineral

Palate: unripe stone fruit, mineral, white flower; medium+ finish pepper, mineral, chamomile; dry; medium body; medium+ acidity; low- minus tannin

Overall: Very nice wine. Good balance and no heat. Flavor is fine/nice, but rather simple and not very concentrated, focused, or distinct.

June 13, 2020 - Some green apple some tropical fruit.
