October 12, 2022 - EL Birthday Dinner (The Garden Table at Le Pavillon): A cut about the 83 Beze. Everything was dialed up relative to the Beze: the nose much more inviting and calming, the fruit had a strong core of aged cherry with a little smokiness that was haunting. Really delicious.

February 8, 2007 - Popped and poured into riedel sommeilier burg stems. Lovely transluscent ruby color, with the barest hint of bricking. The nose is a wonderful mix of iron, tea, leather and cherry. The palate is elegance defined, with a lightweight entry, some lace, a similar flavor profile to the nose- a beautiful wine.
