March 12, 2020 - Delicious notes of cassis, licorice, and spice box. This wine is very much alive with tons of red fruits on the palate. Impeccable balance with a 60+ second finish.

December 15, 2017 - This was my last bottle from a six pack purchased 11 years ago. Pull the cork and poured into the stemware just amazing. Ripe fruit and balanced structure. Really a great bottle of juice.

June 25, 2017 - Excellent showing with resolved tannins, cutting acidity, a ton of black liquorice. Juicy and vibrant, yet also luscious and silky.

January 5, 2014 - Classic Cali mountain cab that was at its peak on the second day. Powerful nose that wafts from the bottle, and a powerful mouth feel. But it's not over extracted or cloying. Everything is perfectly balanced: there's just enough oak and chocolate to contrast with the tart black cherry and cassis, and the hints of eucalyptus and cigar box add intrigue. The lively acidity keeps it fresh, and the ultra-smooth tannins add body. A very long finish, with the cherry and eucalyptus lingering long after the other guests have gone home.
