March 29, 2021 - Medium+ purple colour.
Medium intensity aroma of strawberry, raspberry, cooking herbs.
Dry, medium- tannin, high acidity, high alcohol. Medium body. Medium intensity flavour of raspberry, plum, white pepper, strawberry jam. Medium finish.
Very nice, ready to drink now or can wait. -

February 26, 2021 - This was very enjoyable. This was clearly Grenache made by Pinot producers, but I mean that positively.
The whole cluster usage is evident and welcome. That said, as is relatively common with Grenache in Washington, the varietal characteristics are a bit lost. However, they’re not absent. Initially this drinks like someone tried to make a Pinot in the Yakima Valley, then you can tell it’s actually Grenache. Meaning, only after a fair bit of air do the Grenache notes stick out. Then you wish it had a bit more layers, but this may come with age.
Overall, I can see wines like this eventually becoming the hallmark of the area, but time will tell. -

September 13, 2020 - Red berry nose - ripe red raspberry, strawberry jam - with a bit of smoke lurking. Crunchy red fruits, holiday spice, peppery finish. Slightly tannic bite.

March 14, 2020 - PnP with a homemade pasta Bolognese and it was ready to drink. Very smooth and un-interesting; shallow and thin and I don't think it was worth the $40 price tag.
