May 3, 2024 - Drank over 2 nights. Great both nights, first had more crisp mineral and tannin edge, good blue, black, red fruit, earth, lifting into nose, juicy on palate, balanced acid...just about perfect time to open seemed to me. Medium body, nice length, nose and palate nicely expressive. On its own or with food.

April 12, 2024 - Garnet, medium intensity. Developed, low(+) intensity nose. Red fruit, strawberries, earth, toast. On the palate a touch of sweetness, soft medium(-) tannins, medium body. 13%. Flavours as aromas. Intensity. Very good length. Delicious.
    Day 3: More blue fruit.

February 12, 2024 - 91 Granate bastante cubierto. Nariz muy frutal, picotas maduras, notas mentoladas. En boca es muy frutal también, buen equilibrio acidez /cuerpo. Potente, pero suave en boca. Un vino excelente.

December 28, 2023 - This improved considerably over two days. Day 1 showed a very drinkable and pleasant Fleurie, but without much complexity or texture. Day 2 revealed a nice chewy texture and some mineral and floral notes. I believe this wine needs more time in bottle for it to really show off its stuff.

December 25, 2023 - I feared this might be OTT because of the vintage, but not at all - ripe, but not overripe, with precise notes of ripe red cherry and violet on the nose and palate, which successfully dominate the candied notes that would otherwise have given it a rather gloopy feel.

July 31, 2023 - Very good if not great, nice dark red, black, and blue fruit, floral hints lurking, well balanced with just right tannin, mineral, earth. Moderate full, clean. Needed a bit of air time, but seems in a good window given earlier notes.

June 7, 2023 - Spicy cherry notes with some chalky tannins on the finish. Perfume notes beginning to show. Vintage typicity - ripe fruit and full bodied.

May 16, 2023 - Last of my three bottles, and the best so far. The wine is fairly restrained compared to where it had been and even shows some savory character. Most notably, it's lost the overtly ripe watermelon candy notes.

October 7, 2022 - Other bottles from this case were decisively rigid back in 2019-2020, with hard tannins, black grape musk, and suggestions of jagged stone. In other words: typical young Roilette Fleurie. Now in October 2022 it has relaxed considerably. NOSE: damson liqueur, rose/lilac, bruised strawberries, Nusserhof walnuts, salted quartz. MOUTH: savory, attenuated, and grippy while it strides with energy, and precision. I'm taken aback by its seamless integration. Gone are markers of primary grape furiously extracted. Undulating dry ground agitates to the touch, producing amusing interruptions of blackberry and cassis—thin and elastic like fishing line, unaware of gravity. This is a distracting environment of fruits and flowers. It's steady to read—a text printed on heavy paper. Here I find caution, as a husky bloom of bitter berry skin, and fennel seed, scream their suggestions of an ethanol surplus. Still, its bones are enthralled; telomeres hardly touched. The horizon of the punt emerges, and there is a reversal of narrative timing——The enduring sensation here is the feeling of reception. Red raspberry herb silver illumination streams obliquely, flooding the congregating guests with washed out highlights. The end is the beginning, of the next bottle, months from now
