April 9, 2023 - hopefully just this bottle was off. possible storage issues at the store i purchased from? presented with decent fruit notes on the nose but had a bitter tar scent to it as well. on the palate tannins were predominant with again the bitterness underscored by cherry liqueur. some fruit but nothing to denote aging. no tobacco, sweet leaf, leather.. very medicinal. unbalanced wine. drink now..
