  December 28, 2021 - Significant browning. Not much aroma, and starting thin, with a very acid aftertaste. By the end of the first glass, some sweetness was emerging, and the acidity diminished, so the wine tasted of raspberry jam (and provided a lot more pleasure). It would have been much better a few years ago. If you have any drink them up (but perhaps allow for an hour or so of aeration so you can move directly to the raspberry-jam phase).

  February 25, 2007 - 89. Bottle and cork were fine. The bouquet was classic Cote d'Or, very complex and subdued. The wine was a bit reserved right out of the bottle and improved over the next 45 minutes. It had good, deep, complex fruit, but it was reserved, not very forward. Tastes of raisins and cherries.

  January 15, 2006 - Followed the Pillot Charmots, and this was altogether fuller, richer, rounder, with sweet pinot fruit, less complex than the Charmots, very different, but at about the same level - 88 verging on 89
