September 10, 2020 - Pale, light straw in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe citrus fruit aromas of lemons/limes, melon & some peach notes with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, stony, minerals & a touch of spritz in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes, melon & sweet pears, stony, minerals & a hint of honey. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks well at present although it may develop further with an additional year of further aging.

September 9, 2020 - White pulp fruits, lemon/lime curd, a hint of matchstick & sulfur, med acidity. Lacking in enough vibrancy & flavour depth to take it to the next level. Maybe this grape has its limits. 87-88.

September 7, 2020 - Consistent with the bottle of four months ago: Quite good, excellent freshness. Melon, citrus, white floral, mineral/soil, most of which carries to a nearly medium-bodied palate. Very light color that matches the transparency of the fruit's purity. Clean, with just the right texture, and finish. A winner. Great with salads, lighter fare, or as an aperitivo. 13,0% abv., drink thru 2022. recommended, and pretty much just as good on night two.

September 1, 2020 - Dry and crisp, well rounded. Slight peach and honeysuckle. Lovely

July 30, 2020 - Initially, there is a moderately rich stone fruit attack that almost immediately morphs into a dry mouthful of river rocks, which then finishes with lime curd. The acidic finish lingers pleasantly for quite a while.

It’s interesting, while the wine reads as predominantly lean on the palate, there is just enough ripe fleshiness on the attack and within the texture to keep the wine from being austere. Instead it presents a nicely balanced and persistent Roero Arneis.
