September 15, 2019 - 13.5% - Clear, med to deep lemon / clean, med to pronounced intensity - lemon, ripe pineapple, cheese rind, spices / dry, med acidity, med+ body, creamy textuted, med+ intensity, med length. Again, quite stunned by the depth of that wine, expressive and well balanced.

September 14, 2019 - Excess oak subsided after about an hour but still too heavy handed for me. With sungold tomato and scallop pasta.

August 21, 2019 - 13.5% - Clear, med straw / clean, medium to pronounced intensity - pineapple, ripe citrus, spices, ginger powder / dry, med to high racy acidity, med+ round body, med+ intensity, med length and well balanced. I was so surprised by this wine a year ago with the 2016 vintage that I had to try another vintage. It feels like a powerhouse ripe fruit driven which is cut through with a sharp acidity. Perhaps the length is not as long as previous vintage, but it already punches above it's weight at this price tag.
