July 5, 2020 - Bright deep garnet color. Red fruit aromas on the nose along with earthiness and damp leaves. Strawberry, tart cherry, leather, mineral, bright acidity, balanced tannins, long finish. Very good. It will smooth out with some age, but really good now (2020) if you crave that tart young, balanced acidity. Enjoyed while on vacation at the Shore with homemade pasta and Italian sausage in a red sauce.
