Great tight, austere Rieling, bone dry, no sweetness, saline. Compared to Kirchspiel 2017 from Wittmann much more focused and straight forward. This could age very well. e will know in 10 years. 95 -

Grosses Gewachs Tasting (Army and Navy Club, London): Beautiful decadent in the nose, nutty, buttery, brioche, white fruit, equally glorious palate, high acidity, nutty, white ripe fruit, medium body, 13%, medium to long finish. I’m halfway through the tasting but damn that wine of the day for me
