July 28, 2023 - Fruity and bold, but with very nice acidity. Honeydew melon, apples and pears are the dominant fruit flavors. The buttery notes are very pronounced, almost too much. There's also pretty heavy oak notes. It's good, but not quite as good as I remember from a year and a half ago, when I last drank it. Or maybe it's just me that's more picky now.

June 24, 2023 - Nose: Fresh Fennel, citrus, apricots, honey in a complex combination

Taste:Multilayered where the complex fruits (red apples and grilled lemons) are combined with white pepper , toasted bread and fennel, almonds and some bitterness (pleasant though) at the end.

A house wine that always works so well!!
Should be drunk in a year

June 7, 2023 - Lemon and green apple on the nose. Light on the palate with lemon, green apple, and slight mineral. Smooth, moderately buttery finish. Nice white especially for the price.

    May 21, 2023 - Great value wine!

Nose: red apples, honey, light bready with balanced Acidity. Good complexity reveals some aging tones.

Taste: at first the acidity are limited, but after a while it reveals itself! Balancing red apples, fresh flowers and light oak tones in slightly oily viscosity.
    Always a really good wine!

May 3, 2023 - Bottle 3 of 4. We’ve had this laying down for close to 4 years now and there’s no question the bottle age has tamed the extravagance of this wine but I’m not sure it has made it better.

Aromas of candied pineapple, wax, ginger and baked honeycrisp apple.

Palate is rich and round with powerful and persistent acidity and warm alcohol.

Flavours of leesy, creamy butter, tart lemon and spicy ginger.

A very good wine for an outstanding price.

April 2, 2023 - Integrated acidity, oak tones in an elegant package

One of my “housewines”- great elegance and complexity for the price

Aroma: red apples, baked bread, honey in a pleasant way
Taste: integrated fruits (red apples, apricots) with bready tones.. is it tarragon in the background?

    Medium acidity and long finish
    Should not lie much longer

December 23, 2022 - Perfect accompaniment to salmon with roe sauce. Well balanced new world chardonnay. Easy to understand, easy to enjoy.

October 11, 2022 - Zero idea how I ended with this, best guess someone brought it to a party. Full bodied, New World Chardonnay, but it stops well short of going into butter-ball territory. Pretty simple lemon-apple-light pineapple fruit profile, with a nice seam of rocky minerals, general creaminess and oak notes that fill out the finish.

In the grand scheme of larger scaled $25, New World Chardonnay, you can certainly do a lot worse. Big, but not overblown. This is a , "successful within the style", sort of wine. Not really my thing, but a good price if you like a bigger style. Caveat Emptor to Chablis and Dry Riesling fans.
