Community Tasting Notes 3

October 21, 2020 - The nose is as if smelling a stone fruit orchard lying face down in the dirt. A chalky minerality drives the aromas and is backed with warm peach and apricot and nectarine aromas. Slight whiffs of a nutty cheese. The palate is lively and driven by acid and minerality. The stone fruits are more underripe in flavor with green hints of English peas and chervil. It really is bold in its linear focused earthiness and a such is best with food or more years in the cellar. If you enjoy a steely Chablis, this is your OR Chard.

March 8, 2020 - Nice minerality, but just a touch more oak/vanilla than I prefer. Just a little more lean and crisp would be spot on.
