September 11, 2017 - It was very good despite being well past it's age

July 5, 2012 - ASTONISHINGLY sweet, but let's be fair, this one should have been consumed 6 or 7 years ago. Almost a dessert wine at this point.

December 1, 2011 - Just weird. Popped and poured. Nose with bandaid and minerals on top of Riesling fruit. Palate with oxidation and acid. Finishes with some RS. Thin and light and uninteresting. Perhaps not well treated. plan to cook with the rest.

April 11, 2011 - More flavour than the German rielsing, but maybe could have done with a touch more acidity. Again though I only sipped this briefly, so its just a quick impression.

February 5, 2011 - The wine was okay (e.g. not skunked) just way past it's prime and way too sweet. I found it in my cellar and realized it was past it's prime but I hate to waste it so we had it with some fish for an every day drinker. Maybe if I had tried to use it as a desert wine it might have been better but with a meal it was "meh". Nice color and fair bouquet but just too sweet, whatever hints of fruit (pear? apricot?) were trying to find their way through the sugar just couldn't do so on the palette. All in all though for an overaged $10 bottle, what is there to complain about?
