May 29, 2020 - Dark purple/ruby turning bright violet at the rim with a reflective edge and the legs indicate a relatively high alcohol content. The nose affirms this with ripe black fruits, smoked cedar and incense. This is followed by a palate that’s bold, full-bodied, fleshy with good acidity wrapping the dark cherry, black olives, dark chocolate, graphite and espresso core. Finishes long and savory with gripping tannins and lovely earthiness. Drink now with a 30-minute decant until 2033. 93+
