    I should have decanted this bottle, or at least given the wine more air, but honestly it was "delicious enough" and I swirled a lot. There's a lovely Blueberry streak from the nose to the finish. It's not sweet or overripe, though, it's balanced and more Old World in sentiment. I'm going to let my other bottles sit another year or so. Thick fruit tannins need to mellow.

    May 31, 2021 - Needs some air. Dark fruit, olive, some forest floor and pine undertones. Fair bit of acid. Lingering finish coats the gums. Not my favorite style of Syrah but a good wine.
