June 16, 2023 - Splash decanted and back to bottle for slow ox. Little bit of sediment. Followed over an evening. 45% Merlot, 42% CS, 17% CF. Absolutely stunning after 3h of slow ox in bottle.
Wild red and dark berries, dusty earth, lead pencil, graphite. Medium body with supple high toned acidity. A blanket of tannins, dark currants, and iron on the finish. Minimal oak.
"Elegance is not standing out, but being remembered" -Giorgio Armani. I cannot summarize this wine better than that.
