January 19, 2024 - Decanted 90 minutes. Darker than expected with brooding blackberry nose. Deeper and more muscular than expected on the palate with blackberries, earth and minerals. Modest finish with some tannins. Certainly within drinking window, but seems like it has a long life ahead. 90+

February 13, 2023 - This has calmed down over the last couple of years. That primary richness has receded leaving the big blackberry flavors intact. Now its closer to being lean bodied. The finish is still short which is odd as it feels like its got a nice backbone underneath the fruit. For the price its hard to nitpick. Still a strong value even if not well balanced.

January 24, 2023 - Really tasty stuff. Great qpr at $21.99.

December 16, 2022 - PnP. Cherries leaning to darker fruit, violets, nice mineral core. Everything nicely in balance with mid-weight with pleasant tannins bringing up the rear. Great QPR.

November 20, 2022 - A very good Saint Amour. I tested it across few months using a Coravin. Always been on top of my Beaujolais list. On the fruit, not on the alcohol.
