    March 9, 2024 - Grosse concentration ici.

January 18, 2024 - Won't rate. Way too early to tell what's going to happen with this one.

    November 1, 2022 - Deep gold.

Medium plus intensity on the nose with orange, apple, peach, baked apple, hay, honey, cinnamon, caramel and hazlenut. Developing.

Pronounced and sweet on the palate. Medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, full body, long finish.

Can drink now but suitable for further aging. Great wine but just on the borderline of being cloying with the sweetness / acidity ratio.

May 18, 2022 - A lovely lunch at Fien and Gert Jan (The home of Fien and Gert Jan): Vanilla, citrus, a whiff of anise, honey, a bit green too, concentrated and still quite young.

March 9, 2021 - From incredibly low yields of only 5 hectoliters per hectare, the wine offers a mélange of ripe, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, apricot, licorice and orange rind along with vanilla, honey and floral aromas. The wine is medium-bodied, fresh and sweet, with tones of orange tropical fruits, nuts, vanilla and honey on the palate and in the sweet, albeit subtle finish. This is the only vintage of Suduiraut produced from 100% Semillon.

July 3, 2019 - Tasted next to the 2009. A bit more delicate than 2018 Coutet tasted before. Still rather rich with notes of dried fruit, caramel, floral notes, orange zest. Very long and slightly bitter finish. Nice. 92-93+

May 30, 2019 - Barrel sample at Lord's en primeur tasting. Its generally recognized that this is not a white wine vintage. Whilst the nose lacked the hazelnut botrytis of a better vintage the flavour was absolutely lovely.

April 19, 2019 - Pineapple, apricot, cashews, vanilla, honey, almond butter and butterscotch create the sublime perfume. On the palate, which is where this wine needs to be, the wine is sweet, fat, ripe, palate filling and racy, with the right amount of acidity and honeyed fruit keeping everything in balance. This is the only vintage in the history of the estate made from 100% Semillon.
