September 24, 2023 - PnP. Lime, citrus, tropical fruits, some underlying stone fruits, slate and minerals, some floral notes. Medium sweet on the palate but with good acidity (but I wish it had a tad more acidity). This was my only bottle, but I'd buy more if I could find it because I think it will age for another 10+ years.
July 29, 2021 - Dinner at restaurant Koks (pop up in Tivoli) (Copenhagen): Med sweet, a light wine with floral aromas and Kerosene. An excellent wine which I would have rated even higher if it wasn't because it was so light (too light - almost like juice).
July 20, 2021 - Light yellow-green, near clear hue. Slate, tropical nose. Tropical, pineapple, light fruit cup syrup, clementine. Nice juice, pleasant start-finish, no petrol, great with spicy food. nice balance, not overly sweet. Really enjoy this bottle. Yum!
December 20, 2020 - Light yellow hue. Slightly sweet, slightly tropical nose. Crisp, refreshing, semi-sweet, 7.5% alc, no petrol. Can drink wine with or without food. Could be drank as a dessert wine. Very nice effort. Suspect continued improvement as this bottle ages.
September 16, 2020 - One of the best 2018s I've tried so far! Light and airy, with a deliciously fresh nose, passion fruit, pineapple, sour red apple, and honey. The palate is sweet, though not thick, and offers the same fruity notes as if they'd been topped with a teaspoon of sugar.
This is drinking well now, but will truly shine in 10 or even 15 years. 2018 may be better than I had assumed so far.
June 15, 2019 - Mythos Mosel 2019: From Briedel to Ürzig (Mosel): *** very brief notes from tasting sips ***
Beautiful Spätlese! Lots of yellow fruit, great mineral core, depth, juicy and joyful. 91-92+
