June 13, 2023 - Some dark charcoal on the nose. 2015 of Poesia is the first vintage with out S02 at the end. 5.9 hectare, the ph is a bit higher here. With some acidity and definition to it. Dark and substantial fruit. Smelling great.

March 31, 2022 - Layers of concentrated dark fruit and chocolate. Smooth with a long finish. One for the cellar

September 22, 2021 - Absolutely massive wine. Night one was a new oak fest, lots of vanilla and cloves. Ripe tarry black fruit underneath the oak. Day 2, the oak did not seem as obtrusive. Endless layers of fruit came out. Still intensely black fruit, tobacco with some red fruited undertones. Full bodied. Despite the fruitiness, a sense of dryness. Just a hair of alcoholic heat. New world feel not classic bdx style at all. Seems like at least 2 decades away from its drinking window.

March 9, 2021 - Dark in color, the wine pops right off the bat with an array of aromatics. Flowers, truffle, smoke, licorice, black cherry and raspberry liqueur consume your nose. On the palate, the wine is rich, seductive, sensuous and silky. Full-bodied, concentrated, opulent and velvety, everything here is in perfect proportion. The finish feels so good, it is impossible not to take another sip. This superb Pomerol will age effortlessly for 3 decades.
