November 25, 2019 - Very well made Cab, on the lighter side more like a Pinot. Cherry notes with a little spice and dust. Nice qpr, Cousin Pudge enjoyed and will refill cellar with this lighter style Cab.

March 31, 2019 - Read the label and figured this’d be a Cab-heavy left bank Bordeaux. Then I tasted it and basically it’s just oak. Oak. Oak. Pretty disappointed to be honest, I don’t get the signals that I am drinking too young either although perhaps that’s contributing. Medium tearing. Medium Ruby colour. Oak and van on nose, tough to note fruit. Flavour reveals cherry but dominated by oak and dry Dutch-process cocoa. Cheek tannins, bits of dried herbs, m.high acidity, long dry finish. Consistent but not much evolution.
