February 16, 2024 - Another great bottle! This will evolve and continue to be great for quite some time...but very drinkable now.
January 22, 2024 - Deep garnet. Fairly fast legs. No sediment. Dark fruit. Full body, cassis, dark cherry, oak, blackberry, earthy. Dry. On the soft side and on the tannic side. Aerated and decanted.
December 30, 2023 - Bold dark fruit on the nose, black berry and cassis, sweet vanilla and little bit of alcohol. Similar fruit on the palate, maybe some sweet cherry also. Medium tannins with a long (and recommended) decant. This offers Napa typicity for a reasonable price considering how expensive Napa is (picked these up for $27). For me maybe lacking other elements than oak and bold fruit, but then again at this price it’s hard to complain. Still young, but a good entry into the world of Napa without paying the big bucks.
November 3, 2023 - Flamboyant and delicious. Two hour decant. Prime drinking.
October 2, 2023 - Cork perfectly intact. A rich Napa cab followed. Dark, unctuous fruit with smooth, silky tannins. Paired with a grilled ribeye steak seamlessly. I have one more of these beauties
August 28, 2023 - Another great bottle...just like I remembered. The last bottle was corked, but this one is exactly what I was expecting and consistent with previous notes. Fingers crossed the remaining bottles are also great!
August 23, 2023 - Enjoyed earlier bottles. Bottle was flawed. The nose was not a dead giveaway. Worst sip of wine I think I've ever had...
August 21, 2023 - Drank over two nights. Fruit forward with some pepper and spice mid palate. It was enjoyable and worthy of the under $30 price tag. I’d be disappointed if I paid retail in Napa.
