January 8, 2021 - A light GV, lacks the bite usually associated with GV. But, is a nice smooth, wine with slight green apple & honey notes.

May 11, 2020 - Bought 2 1-liter bottles from Wine Library for 10/b several months ago; this is #2. Light green/gold; semi-fragrant savory herbs, some citrus that follow on the palate, good mouthfeel. More subdued than the best GV I've tasted but tasty and satisfying for everyday. Held well in the frig for 3 days, some lost fruit detected by day 4 when we finished the bottle. Stored vertically (screwcap) in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: For me, scores on a "100-point scale" are misleading. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

May 9, 2020 - Melon, white berry and a bit of baked good character - nice balance between acid, body, not too light and not too heavy - serve at kitchen fridge temperature

April 30, 2020 - Honeydew, cantaloupe all the melons on the nose. Tangy but smooth, not mouth puckering. Not sweet but isn't drying out my mouth. Really yummy! And not acidic or mouth drying if you want something different for a dry white wine.

April 6, 2020 - Absolute bargain for the QPR that it is. Dry gooseberry citrusy fruit that hits the spot for summer deck wine at $13 for a LITER. Enjoy.

This is refreshing but simple; good for everyday, perhaps with salad with creamy dressing, simple grilled fish. Stored vertically (screwcap) in a cool, dark basement since purchase. February 1, 2020 - Taste New Wines for February (San Diego Wine Co.): From the U.S. Importer re the ’19: “Fermented entirely in s/s from estate grown, loess dominated vyds in the Kremstal.”

    WAY too cold

N: Closed; Minerals slightly atop pears, poss apples?

P: LM body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) offset by an acidity which morphs into a LONG, balanced finish with POSS just the BAREST hint of a very, VERY slight bitterness that would NOT be a problem with food for now & into '21. Lacking a bit in substance, or my VG/VG+ (86-89/100 using that metric) would be higher, though even as is, my VG+ *might* be a go based upon QPR for this 1-L bottle. [This vendor's $12.99 puts it in the TOP 1/3 of wine-searcher's postings.]

July 24, 2019 - Buttery and smooth. Paired very nice with a mild chicken fried rice. Good on a hot Southern day. Serve chilled.
