October 20, 2013 - Very dark in the glass, with ruby tones at the edges. Dark fruit, leather, mineral, and a touch of violet on the nose. On the pop this actually smelled of chorizo and beef blood, but this blew off (didn't mind it myself). Medium bodied with decent acidity, and flavors mirroring the aromas. A little too much oak for me, but enjoyable.

September 8, 2012 - excellent Bandol in perfect condition. Dark fruits, leather & barnyard in nice harmony still some tannins to give it some bite. very good for its pricepoint (if you like it Funky)
