    December 17, 2023 - Deep opaque purple
Light fresh dark berries nose and flavors
Soft, but adequate structure with some denser tannins in the finish.
    Nice pleasant stuff

April 21, 2023 - Enjoyed at a family birthday party gathering and enjoyed with a variety of TexMex entrees. Short decant, but it would have been fine directly from the bottle. Whatever comments I made back in late 2021 relative to integration, development, or rough edges have now been resolved. Hitting on all cylinders: smooth, polished, and elegant with power lurking in the background. Has plenty of life ahead. Enjoy now or drink through 2035. Outstanding wine.

September 9, 2022 - Good wine. Young. Decanted for two hours. Dark blackbeery, coffeee. As others recommend should be much better in a coupke yesrs

August 16, 2022 - Concentrated black sour cherries, currants, licorice, oak spice. Full bodied with Med+ acidity and tannin. Could use more time but ready to go. Sort of like super Tuscan in style.
    Very good but not outstanding.

November 28, 2021 - Second vintage of this wine; not quite as good as the 2013 at this juncture, but nonetheless, excellent. Requires decanting and hearty food. Enjoyed with a grilled, Teriyaki thick cut pork chops and peppers and onions. Developing purple and blue fruits with unresolved oak and structure. Needs time to come together, but lots of upside potential. Drink 2022-2035.

October 15, 2021 - Excellent Malbec! Figs, cherries, currants, cocoa powder, chocolate, mocha, palate is full body with black fruit and grainy tannins which shluld get better with age.

May 26, 2021 - An unusual Malbec without the characteristic biting tannins typically found in Argentinian wines. Very smooth. Nice deep foundation of chewy berries. Lingers on the palate and very enjoyable to drink. This vintage will only get better as it ages. Going to look for more to cellar.

May 6, 2021 - One of the best malbecs I've ever had. Still early in its development but already showing great pedigree. Notes of blueberry, graphite, charcoal, creamy oak and other dark fruits on the nose. Substantial body, with Fine-grained tannins on the palate and a very long fish. Powerfully constructed, this wine will improve with time. An absolute steal for the $49 I paid, incredible qpr.

April 15, 2021 - Dark purple hues turning violet at the rim with a reflective edge. The aromas are deep, densely packed and powerful with ripe dark red berries at the core, followed by hints of rose petals and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied with an aggressive alcohol attack that burns all the way to the back of the throat. Then everything settles to reveal dark cherry, raspberry, and plum that’s balanced by medium acidity. Secondary flavors of subtle vanilla bean and coffee on toasted oak. I wouldn’t say this is an elegant wine. It’s more of a modern, fruit-forward style that gives more of a shock and awe rather than an intellectual, sublime experience. Finishes long and juicy with fleshy tannins. This would pair greatly with a grilled steak, barbecue or lamb chops. Drink now with a 1-hour decant until 2032. 93+
