January 5, 2014 - Nose initially like a thin amarone, dark fruit, but not the heavy alcohol. taste was typical Sagrantino, some roughness on the tongue, but nice fruit as well. Tannines still present, but nicely integrated. No blockbuster, but well done. Should drink well for some years to go.
