January 22, 2021 - If it's $25, then it's the cheapest Barolo on the market.
    Worth it?
    Good question.
I would rather do Mencia, but bargains are everywhere and big name bargains are not the norm. Gotta hit the hidden areas, such as Slovenia, Armenia, Georgia, but since we are in Barolo...

Nebbiolo notes for sure. Flowers and energy from oak aged, which is evident. Tastes of hybrid old school/ new school.

I poured off a glass, then slow oxed for 30 hours with open bottle on table. Decanted to zero nose!
It had palate of dirt with notes of new oak, tight knit, but salty new oak tannins present. I would guess maybe a few Barriques new, maybe 15%? but can't know for sure.
It was dirty and stony, fully fermented and tasted real. Liked it for sure, but it did not have the stars or energy of what I'm used to in Barolo.
That glass that had been poured off 30 hours earlier was a bit flabby.

it's an okay wine, but I've got a long list of bottles on which I'd rather spend $3o.

There's fungus, dirt, rusticity, grip, but short on finish.
    Any true aficionado will skip.

January 1, 2021 - Ok. It is fine but not remarkable. One dimensional dark fruit.

December 10, 2020 - I mean, OK, not the greatest Barolo on the palate (I liked the recently tasted Boca much better) but for a nice easy drinking middle of the road Barolo (probably at too high a price but that's a different story - I didn't actually buy this wine but was served it at a party) it was OK. It was recognizable. It wasn't candy cola or anything too spoofalated. It was just a generic nebbie. If you like nebbie with a little acid then there's not much to hate.

September 2, 2020 - Tart cherry and light oak. Firm tannin.

March 26, 2020 - Aromas dark cherry and plum, dark cherry on the palate, with some oak coming thru. Balanced acidity and well integrated tannins. A real bargain at $15 from Trader Joe’s.
