August 21, 2022 - The last reviewer captured it well with "clean, pure, good intensity of fruit - almonds and lemon. High acidity, quite unctuous". Though last year some found grapefruit, at this point we did not. Closer to yellow plum. Sophisticated, not tropical. A stunner.
May 9, 2022 - Clean, pure, good intensity of fruit - almonds and lemon. High acidity, quite unctuous. Moderate length and straightforward. Drink now and over the next 3 years.
March 16, 2022 - Fragrant/bright nose, grassy & grapefruit, steely & mineral elements.
Crisp and refreshing.

September 13, 2021 - Nice nose. Creamy mid-palate. Lacks acidity on the finish, which really diminishes its compatibility with many foods you would expect to pair with this varietal.
April 11, 2021 - Clean & Crisp tropical fruit, melon. Ripe with hints of green apple. Had some heft to it, creamy on the palate..maybe the French oak. New Zealand SB similarity with the tropical fruit. Well made but wouldn’t expect anything but greatness from Lail and Melaka.
March 27, 2021 - This is a nice every day Sauvignon blanc. Grapefruit. Sour fruit. Crisp acid. Everything you want in a SB, but not that memorable. Well made, but not that special.
March 14, 2021 - Citrus with acidity. Was perfect with a spicey peanut noodle dish
January 27, 2021 - All pear and citrus with min grapefruit. Fair amount of alcohol and acidity.
January 23, 2021 - really disappointed in this almost $30 SB. Pleasant nose, dose of tropical fruit on the tongue, and more acidity than most California SB's, but truthfully nowhere near the value you get from NZ.
December 24, 2020 - Popped and poured, probably around 45-50 degrees. This is floral, with mango and tangerine aspects. A little oak. As with some of the top Cali SBs (Merry Edwards, Jonata) there’s more weight than is varietally typical and the mix of wood and stainless adds intriguing texture. Really enjoyed this. 92-93
