May 17, 2021 - This is a fun, fresh and lively unoaked Chardonnay. Quite an unusual expression of this versatile grape.
Subtle, mineral nose of freshwater stone, peach and apricot.
Mouthfeel is wonderful. Light but textural and structured with pronounced acidity.
Flavours are deep and rich continuing with the orchard fruit theme with the addition of a subtle creamy, mousse note and perhaps some lemon / lime zest.
Finish is exceptionally long.
I would drink this now for its youthful freshness.
