July 18, 2019 - Was ok. Could use some time laying down and mellowing out a bit. Still young. Had with cheese n crackers

July 5, 2019 - This is a very nice red blend that maintained more restraint than I expected.

On the nose, dusty plums, wild blackberries, peppery spices, leather, mocha & vanilla with a core of cedar & smoked meats.

The palate is smooth and intense; espresso, bittersweet chocolate, ground black pepper & black fruit flavors dominate the palate. The tannin are gritty now...give it a year or two & this will integrate.

Intense glycerol weight & texture, good balance & a peppery finish - burgers anyone?
