  March 2, 2015 - Tasted from a professionally-stored bottle, this wine was nevertheless surprisingly alive and enjoyable. If anything, it is quite Bordeaux-like. WS gave it only an 85 back in 1994.

  November 1, 2011 - This a bit sweaty with not a whole lot of fruit left. There's still a nice balance of acid/tannin structure remaining and a nice texture but there's not much flavor and I think the structure has outlived the fruit. I'm curious about the sweatiness, I wonder if that's from residual oak after the caramel/vanilla has integrated but the fruit has faded away? Whatever it's from, I think this was past its prime.

  December 1, 2005 - 1991 California Cabernet (Beginnings and Endings) (Haggis house): This was not served blind and was opened after the other wines were revealed. Earthy nose. Rich texture and slightly on the acidic side. Notes of cherry and red berries. Medium bodied. 90 points
