  May 12, 2023 - Coravin. Lemon yellow; moderately aromatic, lemon peel, some minerals, tarragon, pear; palate is medium-full bodied, medium-minus acidity, 13% alcohol, richly textured with pear, slight mint, dry extract; medium finish. Very nice austrian riesling, lacking the next gear that these sometimes get with age but nice blend of fruit with lemon peel and mint. 90

  April 22, 2023 - Fresh aromas of mint, pear, grapefruit, passionfruit, tarragon, and spice. Thick on the palate with an earthy edge, but slightly bitter, and far from streamlined, although not flabby. For a very hot year, this does a good job of controlling the ripeness and alcohol, and there's good acidity. But it lacks some the mineral intensity and drive of the best vintages of this wine. That said, it drinks surprisingly well now. I don't think this is one to age.
