May 22, 2023 - A garage sale wine at Garagiste remember those???? This was fabulous. Complex with a lovely nose reminiscent of a Loire but a bit more depth on the palate. Nice acidity that carried the fruit through the meal. Someone said this is related to Huet. I see a resemblance. Wish I had more!

October 9, 2022 - I enjoyed this wine even more on this outing. Hi in acidity, hi in alcohol - it said 12% but definitely felt like more. Good fruit of pear and apple. This dry Furmint is a pretty distinctive taste. This one is from the same group that produces Domaine Huet in Vouvray. Long finish. Drinking well now, but I don't think it will get much better. Probably quite a few years left in the bottle. Nice bracing wine with a great QPR.

July 20, 2022 - Color is light golden, gold flake.

Nose is of ripe tropical fruit: guava, mango, peaches. Smells sweet.

On the palate the wine is full bodied with a lot of fruit, but balanced with medium acidity and some minerality. The wine should be paired with food but is opulent enough to be enjoyed on its own if you prefer more fruit than minerality, leanness and acidity. (We tend to prefer the latter).

Very interesting. We haven’t had much Tokaji — this may be the third one ever.

January 10, 2022 - Haven’t had one of these in years, but still love it, this one is coming across as a bit of Rhone meets Chablis, prominent lemon citrus and slate, the nose definitely leans more full/ripe/floral. The acidity really kicks in midway through though and has steering persistence, a touch oily/lemon peel. Very enjoyable, especially with food.
