April 26, 2024 - PnP half bottle (coravin). Nose: very good 9/10. Berries, baking spices, (nutmegs, cloves?). Palate: 9/10. Cherry tart. Nice acidity. sweet, bitter balance.. Finish: 8/10. Price: 7/10 ($85, 2024). Enjoyment: 9/10. Would buy again: Yes. Good stuff.
December 16, 2023 - Really nice, juicy and a little jammy with soft berry fruit, what you'd expect from KB. The Sea Smoke Ten '18 was somewhat boring compared to the KB. B&J xmas party

May 26, 2022 - Nice aromas of cherries and raspberries on the nose. Similar on the palate. Everything in balance. A great rendition of the Pinot grape-this is closer to the Oregon Pinots, than the heavier Calif. Pinots. Goes great with food—in this case an Asian style beef dish. Nice finish.
April 23, 2022 - Initial flavors of strawberry, cherry with a spice finish all within about 20 minutes of decanting. After an hour the spice was less pronounced and mellowed nicely and the strawberry flavor became more prominent. Very nice.

November 21, 2021 - Nose of baking spices, cherry, cranberry, and bit of lemon peel. Rich layers of black cherry, plum, red licorice and rose water with a crisply acidic unerbelly. Super-elongated, ethereal tannins on the finish with red fruits, light earth, and raspberry. Super gentle and super smooth.
