August 8, 2013 - Light in color, good aged pinot nose, but unfortunately a reductive note. The palate was interesting at first but then overpowered by burnt match and a strange green flavor that I would liken to biting jnto a fresh grape seed. I put it aside for a few hours to see if the sulphur would blow off, and it did to some extent but so did the initial intricate flavors. A disappointment, and I hope not indicative of my other bottles. 0 for 2 so far.

February 19, 2011 - Man oh man, this wine continues to impress me. Bursting aromatics of ripe fruit, earth, cinammon, fennel. Elegant mouthfeel with the finest grained tannins. Superb balance and this finish that just morphs from fruit to herbal. Love it.
