November 27, 2023 - Fantastic aroma of candied red fruits, simple and smooth fruity palate! Drinking very well now at 20 years old! Delicious!

January 30, 2021 - This wine is sitting pretty. Still has lots of red ripe fruits and color is still fresh looking and not turning garnet looking. Finish was not too impressive-drops off quickly. Very little presence of tannins. Need time to warm up. Drank over the next 6 hours. Never really changed. Good experience.

March 18, 2019 - Translucent ruby red in colour, fantastic nose of red currant, sweet cranberry and a hint of black currant fruits, a touch of vanilla, attractive and a little extravagant! Simple and yet full palate, very juicy, a little tannic and no trace of heat! From half bottle! It is ready but no rush! Well made!

February 22, 2017 - My last bottle, sadly, but opened it for my 50th. What a wine, what a tale from the 2003 vintage. This bottle used to be ripe and lush, and while it still retains a sense of fruit and freshness, it has become a fairly serious Bordeaux. Silky and substantial, it has a nice above average finish. Such a great bargain for a 2nd label. Wish I had bought cases. Getting near peak, but probably has a couple of years left. To all of us who thought 2003s wouldn't age, we are happily wrong.

August 23, 2015 - I was worried that I yet again let a wine sit a bit too long but this 2003 is still drinking very nicely. Age has smoothed out the tannins and left a well balanced, medium bodied wine. Decanted for about 1 hour. Currents, earth, and a touch of leather. Quite nice.
