April 19, 2020 - This was very smooth with ripe yellow fruit and a hint of butter. Oak levels and acidity both seemed balanced to me. I have yet to try a Painted Rock I don't like and this Chardonnay—the only white they produce—is no exception. This has the acidity to last another few years but it drinks well right now.

December 1, 2019 - One of my favourite Chardonnay in the valley. After a few vintages that were more mineral and old world in style, the 2018 is the perfect mix of old world/new world. Notes of high quality oak with a good dose of orchard fruits. Balanced and long. Enjoy now and over the next 7-9 years. Buy, buy, buy.
