Community Tasting Notes 5

March 2, 2015 - Opaque, fire engine red colored. Rich, dried strawberry on the nose along with thyme and other herbs. Strawberry pie palate with undertones of mocha Frappuccino. A bundle of dried herbs unfurls at the finish.

January 8, 2010 - Mature Chianti with aromas of green olives, rosemary, and strong aromas of violets develop rapidly. Lively and enjoyable on the palate with fruity and woody cherry pit flavors. Enjoyable, light-body with a relatively short finish.

March 11, 2007 - From 375ml. Very enjoyable wine, with good aromas, and smooth finish. Pleasing wine--not very complex, but not everything needs to be complex.

August 13, 2006 - Initial stinkiness blew off to reveal a nice, earthy Chianti with decent fruit. More structure here than the light color suggests. Good value.

August 16, 2003 - Tasted at McCarthy & Schiering. Earthy, leathery with some bright cherry fruit on the nose. Sage & heather on the dusty palate. Simple, nice, would be great with food. I have had many better CC though.
