  July 21, 2020 - This took so long to open up. Firm and backward to start, then slowly getting interesting and enjoyable over the course of a couple of hours. Black plum and cherry were always there, but floral and spice notes emerged as the tannins softened. Powerful to start, but more nuanced intensity emerged with more air as well. I was frankly disappointed to start, but found it nicely enjoyable when finished, even if still slightly awkward.

  November 4, 2017 - Needed a full 3 hours after the bottle was opened to really open up. Initially it wasn't showing much but I was offered a glass 3 hours later and it was all purple fruit and lilac, so perfumed and fragrant.

  March 28, 2016 - Gorgeous. Really perfect feminine Syrah. Tannins still evident. Still needs +3-5 years of development. Perfect with lamb shoulder.
