  April 16, 2022 - Decanted for 2.5 hours but it needed every bit of 3 and maybe even more. Around 3 hours is when the wine's perfume began to really unveil itself. The aroma smelled like Bordeaux, or nearly. Mineral, graphite, dark cherry, and that unaccountable perfume I rarely cross ways with. We drank this with a series of Indian dishes surrounding a mixed meat kebab. The spice from the food may have distorted early tasting. But once just sipping after the meal, I savored every moment. It is a very strong wine but doesn't weigh that much, particularly between hours 3 and 4.

  red and black berry fruit salad. Some violet on the palate that suggests Malbec. Lots of red raspberry fruit on the finish. Medium minus tannin. Quite enjoyable wine with nice complexity.

  December 24, 2021 - Drank for Xmas Eve. Random buy but very good. Was a bit timid sure to 16.6% ABV but pleasantly surprised. Would recommend for $50-55. Drank nicely and I think would be better in another 2-4 yrs.
